Andrea became a dentist because from an early age she would always, for some reason, first observe the dentition on people. During high school, parents and teachers tried to steer her rather towards the general medical faculty, but she did not let them, luckily she did not listen to them and became a dentist.
She owes the periodontology specialization to one of her teachers, as well as to the fact that this specialized field has undergone such a leap in development in recent years, which holds plenty of progress and challenges for a young doctor. In addition to periodontal diseases, the treatment of oral mucosal lesions also belongs here, where the use of microsurgical operations and special techniques and tools requires continuous development, one certainly cannot be bored.
Andrea likes to work in a workplace where the importance of periodontal health has already been recognized and the person responsible for the specialized field is recognized as a partner during other treatments as well. Periodontal treatment requires close doctor-patient cooperation, from this the trust can develop which is absolutely necessary for effective treatment and long-term success. The real sense of achievement for her is the development of this trust, the effect of which makes the patients’ fear disappear, their sense of security increases and from occasion to occasion they arrive for treatment more and more calmly.
The doctor is currently on maternity leave.
